Customers order their convenience items in the DoorDash app, and our Warehouse Associates pick and pack those orders in a real, brick-and-mortar convenience store.We're building and scaling new delivery models to delight our customers, using the DoorDash platform.We are looking for a Seasonal Warehouse Operations Associates to be part of our warehouse team offering local fulfillment.About The RoleIn this role, you’ll work within a boutique (2k-7k sq ft) distribution center, with the local warehouse operating team, and be responsible for ensuring we maintain high quality for our customers. Picking and Packing orders. Pick orders that come through the app, pack the order and hand off to our drivers. Inventory and Spoilage Management. Accurately stock receivables and manage inventory, ensuring all products are accounted for and safeguarded against loss or theft, and monitor shelf life to minimize spoilage.Warehouse Organization. Clean and organize the warehouse. Delight Customers. Ensuring substitutions are approved with the customer. Order Staging and Handoff. Assist the order pick-up process by handing off orders to drivers.Maintain a Safe and Respectful Work Environment.
